Servilámina Summit Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., (SSM), a steel service center established in 1993 to meet the just-in-time delivery requirements for Mexico's automotive parts and household appliance industries, is strategically located near automotive companies in the city of Querétaro, the geographical center of Mexico. SSM's customers also include computer case makers, transformer manufacturers, stamped parts makers, and other important industrial sectors. The company's strong performance includes a capital investment of $12 million and more than $30 million in annual sales.

• Strategic Location
  Centrally located in Mexico's automotive industrial sector, this steel service center meets the growing needs of domestic and international customers.
• Wide-ranging Processing Facilities
  SSM meets the needs of its customers through well-equipped facilities. These include two units of wide slitting machines for carbon steel and coated products; one wide cut-to-length machine with a 60-inch-wide maximum for exposed panel; and one reshear and coil upender. All equipment is operated by 110 employees seven days a week.
• High-level Production
  SSM processes 8,000 metric tons each month. The facility currently has a 48,000 square meter land area, comprising 8,500 covered bays with coil-car receiving equipment inside. The company plans to expand in the future.
• Just-In-Time Delivery
  All products available on a just-in-time basis, including slitted coils, cut sheets, toll orders for slitting and cut sheets, warehousing master coils, and inspection of master coils.
• Prodution Variation
  SSM offers its customers a series of products processed to required specifications.
