What are the SDGs?

SDGs is an abbreviation for Sustainable Development Goals, which were adopted at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015. They were set as goals to be achieved by the 193 United Nations Member States during the 15-year period from 2016 to 2030. Specifically, SDGs include 17 major goals and 169 specific targets to be met to achieve those goals.
Sustainable development means development that meets the needs of the current generation without sacrificing the needs of future generations.
SDGs are a list of common issues that all countries in the world should address to achieve a sustainable society. They not only include issues of developing countries, but also those of developed countries and global issues.
At 100SEED, we have decided to collect your opinions, using SDGs as the common global goals of the current generation.
