Joint Business in Cosmetic ODM Business in Japan between Intercos S.p.A and Sumitomo Corporation Group

Intercos S.p.A (Headquarter: Italy, CEO Dario Ferrari), Sumitomo Corporation(Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan, CEO Kuniharu Nakamura), and Summit Pharmaceuticals Internation(Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan, CEO Kenichi Nakamura) have agreed to start Joint business related to Cosmetic ODM in Japan.

Cosmetic market (retail base) in Japan is said around US$24-25 billion, and expected to continue the market growth, under the In-bound demand in addition to the organic growth. And there is some new trend that the Japanese Quality, including quality control/assurance are highly appreciated by consumers. Cosmetic OEM, ODM industry in Japan is also expected to take more roles/functions for the further market growth in Japan, under the various market changes, such as the shortening product development time, various new comers from different industries into Cosmetic market.
