Who We Are
Message from Managing Director
For the last two years, various activities have been restricted due to COVID-19. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of sub-Saharan countries that I have been able to visit since I was tasked with managing business in the sub-Saharan African region two years ago. Nevertheless, I was able to perceive a range of social issues faced by the region as well as the tremendous potential of Africa, which only renewed my determination to build a business that has all the elements needed for social, environmental and economic sustainability. To this end, I have been continuing to embrace challenges.
Future increases in population in Sub Saharan Africa will help drive the region’s growth but could also cause another food crisis and lead to more poverty. What can we do to address these issues? We will implement a range of projects to meet local needs in the areas of agriculture and food, healthcare, education, and social infrastructure, which will directly help solve local social issues in the sub-Saharan Africa. In order to do this in a sustainable manner for the growth of Africa and also for our growth with Africa, we will continue to make efforts and achieve results.
