Feiler Receives Fiscal 2019 Department Store Buyers Award

Feiler Japan, a Sumitomo Corporation Group company, has been awarded the Best Seller Award in the living, bathroom and toiletries section of the Fiscal 2019 10th Department Store Buyers Awards presented by the Senken Shimbun, a daily Japanese fashion industry newspaper. Feiler was selected from among 150 brands and products based on recommendations from buyers at 27 department stores across Japan in view of its fiscal 2019 sales results. A representative from Feiler commented, “We consider the award to be the result of efforts by all divisions of our company, and we are all exhilarated. It is also encouraging to know that our products are highly rated by both our business purchasers and our customers.”

Feiler is a traditional German craft woven Chenille fabric brand. Woven with carefully selected raw cotton through dozens of processes, Feiler fabric is thick and soft to the touch. Offered in beautiful colors and designs, Feiler products have been loved by all generations throughout the ages.

In Japan, Feiler has enjoyed enduring popularity among female customers since it was first released in 1972.

LOVERARY BY FEILER, a gift shop range launched in 2015 through a complete rebranding of the conventional Feiler brand, offers products with cute designs, which are well received by customers of all ages.

Feiler rolls out promotional events at its shops and uses social media in efforts to strengthen communication with customers and attract fans. Besides marketing through their mainstay department store outlets, the company also focuses on selling their products at their Ginza flagship shop as well as online, in addition to forming collaborations with other brands.
