Beware of fraudulent emails arrogating Sumitomo Corporation, our group companies, or the company's executives and employees.

We have recently become aware that somebody is sending spoof emails, purporting to be from Sumitomo Corporation, a group company of Sumitomo Corporation, or a company’s executive / employee.

We do not hold any relationship with such emails.

There are risks should you reply to such emails, such as;
- You may become victim to Business Email Compromise or Phishing scam
- Somebody may steal and maliciously utilise your personal or otherwise important information
- Your computer or smartphone may be exposed to virus or malware infection

Would you please exercise extra caution to such incidents, and do not respond to such emails but delete them, should you receive such emails.
