Sumitomo Corporation was originally founded as The Osaka North Harbour by Sumitomo and other companies in 1919, while Sumitomo’s business philosophy dates back to the 17th century. Throughout our history, Sumitomo Corporation Group has offered comprehensive solutions to its customers, encompassing a wide range of functions for a variety of business areas.

With the trust of our stakeholders and accumulated versatile expertise, we have created and optimized integrated value chains in multiple industries and fields.

Currently, Sumitomo Corporation Central Eurasia LLC, established by Sumitomo Corporation in 2011 after decades of operation as a representative office, conducts business in Russia through head office in Moscow and branch in Vladivostok in close collaboration with other SC subsidiaries in Russia and SC offices in Central Asia.

The environment is constantly changing, and we are tackling new social and economic challenges emerging on a daily basis.
