Co-creation actions with local partners

Sumisho Urban Development operates commercial facilities based on regional alliances, and under the slogan “Initiatives that connect this city to the future,” contributes to the sustainable growth for the entire city as a hub for regional communication.
In addition, we have set out “5 co-creation actions to work with the community” to make the most of the unique strengths of each local region, and we are working on local issues together with five important partners (customers/tenants, local governments/municipalities, schools/cultural facilities, local organizations, and colleagues).
At MIKAGE CLASSE (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), we have been implementing “industry-academia-community collaboration” initiatives since 2010, such as planning and implementing local revitalization events in collaboration with Konan University and the local community, under the name “ACT”（Active and Academic Community Team）.

At Terrace Mall Shonan (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture), we regularly hold the “C Side Marche” event to introduce local products that are friendly to people and nature and provide a place for interaction between local residents and stores that have origin to the Shonan area.
Furthermore, we are developing community-based initiatives in collaboration with local governments, sports organizations, and companies, as well as sponsoring festivals and other events.
