Sumitomo Corporation and Duke Energy Renewables to Jointly Own Kansas Wind Farms

Sumitomo Corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Susumu Kato) in conjunction with its subsidiary Sumitomo Corporation of America has entered into agreement with Duke Energy Renewables (100% subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation) to establish a 50:50 Joint Venture to develop two wind projects in Kansas (Cimarron II wind project 131.1MW and Ironwood wind project 167.9MW).
