Sumitomo Corporation Sells All Shares in Soukai Drug
Sumitomo Corporation (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; president: Kuniharu Nakamura; “Sumitomo”) has agreed to transfer all of its shares in Soukai Drug Co., Ltd (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president Noriaki Komori) to Rakuten, Inc. (head office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; president: Hiroshi Mikitani) , and has signed a share transfer agreement. We are scheduled to complete necessary procedures by the end of 2016.
