Transfer of "Any Wear, Anywhere" Business to Cosmos Hotel Management

Sumitomo Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer: Shingo Ueno) announces it will transfer the business related to its inbound tourism-focused clothing sharing service "Any Wear, Anywhere" (hereinafter "the Service") to Cosmos Hotel Management Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Cosmos Hotel Management”) on May 1, 2026.

This Service was launched to reduce luggage and improve convenience for international visitors and business travelers to Japan, enabling users to rent and return clothing at their accommodations. Since December 2025, Sumitomo Corporation has conducted a joint pilot program with Cosmos Hotel Management, which operates the "APARTMENT HOTEL MIMARU" brand for inbound travelers, to verify the effectiveness of the Service in enhancing guest experience. The pilot confirmed the effectiveness of the Service in expanding services at accommodation facilities and improving customer convenience. Cosmos Hotel Management will continue the business and pursue further service enhancements and expansion.

Sumitomo Corporation will leverage insights gained through this initiative, including the development of new services through collaboration with partners and business expertise in the inbound sector, to pursue further business development with the aim of creating new value.
