Notice regarding Proposition No.5 of our 153rd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders
We would like to announce that Proposition No. 5 “Partial amendment to the Articles of Incorporation (adoption and disclosure of a plan outlining the company’s business strategy to align its business with the goals of the Paris Agreement)”, a shareholder proposal which was proposed by one of our shareholders, was rejected as of the voting result.
Notwithstanding the above result, as we disclosed on “Policies on Climate Change Issues” which we announced on May 7 this year, we recognize planning and disclosing of the business strategy for the mitigation of climate change as a key management issue, and will strive towards increasing the corporate value by reinforcing such efforts in the future.
