CSR & Environmental Preservation on "Releasing baby sand sharks and baby blacktip reef sharks", Rayong

On May 13, 2017, continuing with CSR activities concerning environmental preservation , Sumitomo Corporation Thailand Ltd. and Sumi-Thai International Limited's volunteer Managements and employees had arranged CSR & Environmental Preservation activity on "Releasing Baby Sand Sharks and Baby Blacktip Reef Sharks" at Rayong province. More than 40 baby sand sharks and baby blacktip reef sharks were released to the ocean at Khao Laem Ya - Moo Koh Samet National Park. Since, the number of sharks in nature has decreased continuously by the changing of marine environment, including with human threats. This activity will preserve and promote natural breeding as well as multiplication of sharks in the ecosystem.

We do expect that this activity will strengthen the environmental awareness among our staffs with a long term goal to preserve the environmental. We all could continuously think, create and support social contribution activities to better our community together.
