Sumitomo Corporation is awarded IT Package for Saudi Aramco's King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture project

Sumitomo Corporation (Head Office; Chuo-ku, Tokyo) signed contract with Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Head Office: Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hereinafter "Saudi Aramco") in Dhahran Saudi Arabia, for IT Package of King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (KACWC).

 

The KACWC is being built in the city of Dhahran, in commemoration of Saudi Aramco's 75th anniversary and the center's mission is to make a tangible and positive impact on human development, inspiring a passion for knowledge, creativity and cross-cultural engagement, with the key facilities including libraries, museums, exhibitions, the great hall, multimedia theaters, children's education spaces, continuing education tower, a plaza and a media lounge.

 

The KACWC project includes three parts: Building, IT and Exhibits. Sumitomo Corp. is participating in the IT package and project period is expected approximately two years.

 

Sumitomo Corporation has a long term commitment to the development of the ICT field for Saudi Aramco through various projects.
