On May 14, 2016, Sumitomo Corporation Thailand Ltd. and Sumi-Thai International Limited had arranged CSR & Environmental Preservation activity on "Mangrove Forest Planting" at Chonburi province, led by the Management together with staffs. We had planted more than 500 mangrove trees in the mangrove area in order to preserve biological diversity, ecosystems and protect coastal area that could be eroded by the wave action. Moreover, the mangrove forests are expected to effectively alleviate natural disasters, such as unusual high tides and stormy waves of tsunami and strengthen environmental preservation for community and the country.

We do hope that this activity will enhance the environmental awareness among our staffs, so we all could continuously think and support each other to better our community together.
