North Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant (Block 1) project has been developed to replace the old North Bangkok Power Plant which was retired and supplies electricity to the central region of Thailand and Bangkok. The Power Plant is located in the EGAT's Head Office complex in Nonthaburi Province. Fuel is natural gas supplied by PTT Public Co. Ltd. The EPC contract for the 704MW North Bangkok Power Plant (Block 1) was undertaken by a consortium of Sumitomo Corporation, Hitachi, Ltd., and Italian-Thai Development PCL. |
