PT Sumitomo Indonesia is a trading company (so-called "Sogo Shosha") which was established in 1999. There are a lot of Sumitomo Corporation Group companies throughout Indonesia, one of which is PT Sumitomo Indonesia. PT Sumitomo Indonesia organizes five business units ranging from metal products; transportation and construction systems; environment and infrastructure; media, ICT, lifestyle related goods and services; and mineral resources, energy, chemical and electronics products.

PT Sumitomo Indonesia constantly strives to deliver the highest quality of products and provide excellent services to meet the demands of both domestic and overseas consumers. Regarding people as its precious partners and assets, PT Sumitomo Indonesia contemplates itself as one unity with people and society.

Currently PT Sumitomo Indonesia has approximately 170 employees. It is headquartered in Jakarta. On the other hand, PT Sumitomo Indonesia is an integral member of the Sumitomo Corporation Group, headquartered in Japan, which owns a global network of multi-faceted subsidiaries. Consequently, PT Sumitomo Indonesia is also supported by Sumitomo Corporation Group integrated global network which comprises of approximately 130 locations in 66 Countries and Regions. * As of November 1, 2022

PT Sumitomo Indonesia was established in 1999 and is a trading company of which is so-called "Sogo Shosha". It is an integral member of the Sumitomo Corporation Group of which headquartered in Japan, preserving an integrated network worldwide.

Currently, PT Sumitomo Indonesia has five business units and each business activity is rooted in Sumitomo’s business philosophy of which plays important role in forming the foundation for Sumitomo’s sustainable development. Sumitomo business philosophy has become the corporate’s legacy over the course of hundreds of years.

ORGANIZATION

Business operations of PT Sumitomo Indonesia are organized under five businesses units involving metal products; transportation and construction systems; environment and infrastructure; media, ICT, lifestyle related goods and services; and mineral resources, energy, chemical, and electronics products.

This organization system leads PT Sumitomo Indonesia to integrate people with different and high quality competencies, background and experience in order to develop innovative outcomes for both products and services. PT Sumitomo Indonesia called this organization system with "Business Unit Management System". Along with the aforementioned five business units, there are corporate units which role is to support the business units’ smooth operations.
