IFRS IFRS stands for International Financial Reporting Standards. International Financial Reporting Standards, commonly called IFRS, are accounting standards issued by the IFRS Foundation and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Sumitomo Corporation has voluntarily adopted the IFRS instead of the acounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America(U.S. GAAP), from the consolidated financial statements of the annual report for FY2010.
