PUBLIC NOTICE: DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES

Sumitomo Corporation of Americas (SCOA) has an established Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. For purposes of this DBE Program, SCOA proposes to set its overall goal utilizing all information available to it and information received from the public in response to this notice.

SCOA proposes a goal of 6.08% DBE participation for FTA DOT-assisted contracts for FY 2026/2027 beginning on October 1, 2026.

A copy of the proposed goal and its rationale are available for inspection during normal business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the address shown below for thirty (30) days from the date of this notice (August 1, 2026).
