Sumitomo – Gerdau/JSW Joint Venture: Gerdau Summit
Sumitomo Corporation, Gerdau, one of the largest specialty steelmakers of Americas, and the Japan Steel Works, Ltd. have established a joint venture, Gerdau Summit Aços Fundidos e Forjados S.A. (Gerdau Summit) in 2017, which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of forged parts for wind power generation as an extension of Gerdau’s existing business of manufacturing and selling forged and cast product.
