SCIN has been active in CSR in FY2019. The 2 major CSR activities were Scholarship Programme and Donations. Let’s recollect the various activities held during the past one year.
As every year, the students were honoured with Sumitomo Scholarship and they felt privileged to receive it. This year due to Covid 19, it was not advisable for us to participate in a gathering or ceremony of around 50 people to conduct Scholarship Distribution.

Donations to NGOs

SCIN New Delhi Office (Akshaya Patra)

Akshaya Patra is One of the world’s leading NGOs, working on a massive mission to build India’s human resource base by facilitating the education of underprivileged children in Government & Government-Aided schools through abundant school-meals.

For FY 2020 SCIN donated some capex items to Akshaya Patra’s Kitchen which was recently started at Badli Industrial area. From this Kitchen they provide food to 22000 children which covered around 42 schools within 20 km areas from the kitchen. Our organization is the first donor for their Badli Kitchen. They provide food in 2 shifts. (Morning & Afternoon).

The members from SCIN New Delhi Office visited their new kitchen on February 04th 2020.

SCIN New Delhi Office

HelpAge India is a leading charity in India working with and for disadvantaged elderly for nearly 4 decades. The aim is to serve elder needs in a holistic manner, enabling them to live active, dignified and healthier lives. The Three Pillars of HelpAge India’s work are RIGHTS, RELIEF & RESOURCES.:

Under CSR activity for the FY 2019, eye camps and surgeries of 140 patients were successfully completed/conducted by Helpage India at 3 different locations (Alwar, Shahdra & Anand Parbat).

SCIN Mumbai Office

Ramakrishna Mission – NGO: Established in 1924

NGO is working for Promoting Healthcare, Education & Rural Uplift.
Works to develop the lost individuality of the poor and the tribals through value based education and render health services to build a healthy society. Their mission is to imbibe the values of self-dependency, self-esteem and responsibility into the poor and the tribals. The major thrust of the medical activities is on enlightening the under privileged population about a healthy and hygienic way of living. We have donated portable dental X-ray unit as per their requirement.

SCIN Mumbai Office Directori, Mr. Takeshi Muto, and the members of SCIN Mumbai office visited Ramakrishna Mission Hospital at Khar (West), Mumbai on Feb 26, 2020 for donation of the Dental X-Ray Unit.

SCIN Chennai Office

Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust – Established in 2002

Donation – Fully Automated Generator 30 KVA
Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust is a home for abandoned intellectually challenged children, who provide shelter, care protection, focus on rehabilitation thro’ special education and therapies to improve the quality of life of the intellectually challenged children.

SCIN Chennai office has donated a fully automated Generator 30 KVA under our CSR activity.

The Generator donated was for the Girls home where 35 abandoned intellectually challenged girls were housed. The home require uninterrupted power supply to operate Medical equipment and multi para monitors that check the vitals of critically ill children especially when the children have seizures and fits.

SCIN Chennai Office Director, Mr Hideto Kimura, and all the members of Chennai Office inaugurated the fully automated Generator 30 KVA on March 10, 2020 at Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust.

The Founder, volunteers, officials and all Girl children of Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust have thanked SCIN for our contribution under CSR activity.
